Most email systems filter out attachments larger than 1 or 2 MB so transferring larger files often means writing a CD and posting it, leading to significant time delays. A private FTP area gives you space online to exchange files quickly and easily with your business contacts.
With a Holistech FTP area you can set up individual usernames and passwords on data folders and specify whether people can upload and/or download to the space.

Prices start at £150 per year and area size ranges from 500MB up (very large spaces of multiple GBs can be provided). The FTP area is physically located inside the main internet exchange in London which means that connection speed will only be limited by the local connection to the internet. For example, a 2MB ADSL connection could download 100MB in about 7 minutes, compared to around an hour if you were running an FTP server on an ADSL line. Our FTP server also supports simultaneous full speed downloads and resuming downloads if a user's connection is interrupted.
